Metatesta Dance Company

Metatesta is a new Dance Company born out of a collaboration between Emanuela Bonora and Laura Brera. Both Italian dancer-choreographers have been collaborating together for over ten years, their work draws deeply on the cultural heritage of their birth place. Metatesta’s aim is to create challenging, sophisticated and pleasurable dance-theatre works.

Laura Brera was a student on the Performance Innovations course in 2010.

During her studies, Laura created a new performance piece, ‘Mr. Good-Taste’s widows: a spoonful of introspection’ which was performed at London Met and was recently featured in a double bill of contemporary dance at Upstairs @ The Gatehouse.

As part of the course, Laura also created a company website and Facebook page.
